Camp Cherry Valley was an excellent Summer Camp trip for the troop. Many things were achieved as many of us earned our merit badges, went on insane and fun hikes, swam in the beautiful beaches of Catalina Island but also many of the scouts felt like they personally found good friends within the troop that week. As much as this summer camp was a great return to camp fun and camping in general for our troop, it was also one of the best ones we’ve been to as of yet. Not just because Camp Cherry Valley is an amazing camp that we enjoyed incredibly, but also how we all grew as a troop that week. One that the scouts will not forget in the slightest and I personally hope we can one day come back next time.
